Rewrite level and length
These settings control how much AudioScribe changes your words. They are in Settings (gear icon).
Rewrite Level
The rewrite level sets how much AudioScribe changes your transcript.
| Level | Result | Uses style | Uses length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cleanup | AudioScribe removes filler words and corrects the grammar. Your words do not change. | No | No |
| Medium | AudioScribe keeps the structure and words of your note. It rewrites the note in your style. | Yes | No |
| Full (default) | AudioScribe rewrites the note in your style and length. It can change the order of the content. | Yes | Yes |
Use Cleanup when you must keep your exact words, for example for a quote. Use Full when you want a finished document from a rough recording.
Output Length
Move the slider to set the length of the note, compared with the transcript.
| Position | Length of the note |
|---|---|
| 1 | Short: approximately 20% of the transcript |
| 2 | Short: approximately 40% of the transcript |
| 3 | Medium |
| 4 | Long: approximately 80% of the transcript |
| 5 | Long and detailed |
AudioScribe uses the output length only when the rewrite level is Full.
Writer
The writer is the AI model that changes your transcript into a note.
- Standard: gives clean, reliable notes. All plans can use it.
- Precise: our most accurate writer. It keeps more of what you said and adds less new content. Only AudioScribe Pro can use it.
