What AudioScribe keeps

For all details, read the AudioScribe privacy policy.

Delete audio after processing

When this setting is on, AudioScribe deletes each recording from our servers when your note is ready. AudioScribe keeps the transcript and the note.

  1. Select the gear icon to open Settings.
  2. Go to Your data.
  3. Turn on Delete audio after processing.

This setting applies to all of your devices.

Caution: When this setting is on, you cannot download or listen to the audio of a note after it is processed. If the processing fails, use Download Audio before you leave the error screen.

Export all notes

Refer to Edit, copy and export notes. AudioScribe sends a ZIP file of all your notes to your email address.

Delete your account

  1. Export your notes if you want to keep them.
  2. Go to Account settings.
  3. In Account Actions, select Delete My Account.
  4. Confirm.

AudioScribe cancels your AudioScribe Pro subscription. It deletes your notes, recordings and custom styles.

Caution: Your Dictanote account is also used by Voice In and Dictanote. When you delete it, you also lose your data in these products. You cannot restore a deleted account.
