Voice In Privacy Policy
The
Voice In Chrome extension is built with privacy in mind.

Voice In only records your voice only when the program is turned on. Voice In doesn't record any audio when it off.

Voice In does not transmit dictated audio or transcribed text to any other external server (including Dictanote's
servers). Voice In uses the browser's native speech-to-text capabilities. All the audio is transcribed by the
browser (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge). The transcribed text is then inserted into the text box. Voice In does
not save any of the dictated audio or transcribed text either locally or on any remote server.

Voice In collects information about domains where Voice In is used and whether it worked successfully
using Mixpanel. We use this information for improving coverage and generating domain level usage statistics.
This information is not shared with any 3rd parties.

Voice In requires users login in order to store their settings and voice commands.
For users who upgrade to Voice In Plus:
- For Voice In Plus users, we store your username, email address, password and transaction history is stored
securely on Dictanote's servers.

Sensitive payment information such as your credit card number and billing address are not stored on Dictanote's
servers. They are processed entirely via Stripe, Dictanote's billing provider.

- Voice In activates only when enabled by the user. It does not record or process audio when turned off.

3. Analytics and Performance Data
- To enhance functionality, we collect data about the domains where Voice In is used and its performance success rates via Mixpanel. We use this information for improving coverage and generating domain level usage statistics.

4. User Accounts and Data Storage
- Users can create an account for storing settings and voice commands.
- For Voice In Plus members, we securely store usernames, email addresses, passwords, and transaction histories on Dictanote's servers. However, sensitive payment information like credit card numbers and billing addresses are not stored on our servers. This information is processed solely through Stripe, our billing provider.
5. Data Subject Rights
- Users have the right to access, correct, delete, or transfer their personal data. Requests can be made via support@dictanote.co .
- Users have the right to withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
