Welcome to the Custom New Tab getting started guide. Custom New Tab lets you override the default new tab page to a custom URL of your choice.
Install the Custom New Tab extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Open the extension options page and configure the new tab URL. You can set the new tab URL can be a URL like https://google.com or it can also be a local file path like file:///C:/Documents/test.html
