I am trying to use Voice In to "Speech to Text" in a test that I can only open in full screen. When I turn on the Voice In extension and open the test (automatically opens in full screen), it terminates the Voice In. Any ideas for a work around for this? Love using the extension for voice typing but want to use it on tests as well.

There are 3 ways to start Voice In.

You can right click, and select Start Dictation or use the keyboard shortcut.
