The microphone is off by default, so it won't be able to listen. We have been working on a feature that will let you activate using a wake-up word, kind of like how Google Home or Alexa work. Nothing to share yet.

Is it possible for me to open up the dictation with a voice command as opposed to a keyboard shortcut?
