Hi, I am using Voice In on Google Chrome. Every time I move from one tab to another, I need to activate the extension manually. Is there a way to keep this "on" all the time even when switching multiple tabs?
There is no way to do that currently. You can activate it using a keyboard shortcut though (CTRL+SHIFT+9 on all platforms except Mac, CMD+SHIFT+9 on MAC
The reason we have it this way is sometimes people forgot to turn it off. Voice In uses Chrome's speech-to-text engine and it will stop working if you just leave it on for extended periods.
We have moved to a new forum. Please ask your question at forum.dictanote.co.
