You can use the pre-built voice command "insert dollar sign" to insert $ or add a command say "dollar" => $ to insert the dollar sign.
Saying twelve thousand inserts 12,000 by default.
If you are using in Google Sheets for example, you can use the field type to get the formatting right.

Trying to figure out how to change the fact that when I say 12000 it doesn't get written by Voice In as $12,000.
Does anyone have any suggestions or workarounds?
Thanks!!
