I'm new to this and I just installed a something or rather so that when I opened up a new tab in Chrome I could use this dictation app but now when I open up a new page in Chrome it opens up the dictate notebook instead of my new tab in Chrome this is really annoying how do I get it off my computer so I can go back to opening a new page in Chrome?

Yes that is not ideal.
Open the URL chrome://extensions in a new tab.
You will see the Custom New Tab extension on the page. Disable it.
