I love Voice in. Easy to use. But I recently switched to Sidekick for my browser. Because it is easy to use.
But I can't use Voice in with Sidekick, and Sidekick is based on Crome, so why can't I use it? If anyone knows how to make it work, please let me know.
The speech-to-text APIs needed by Voice In are only available in Chrome and Edge, the two browsers we support. These are not available on other browsers like Sidekick, Brave, Vivaldi, and Firefox.
If you are switching for privacy reasons, I recommend users (if they can) to use Chrome with uBlock origin extension which provides similar privacy protection as these other browsers.
