This happens if for some reason Voice In is crashing every time you are using the keyboard shortcut.
Can you go to chrome://extensions/ (copy paste this into a new tab), then disable all other extensions. Then open a new page and try, does it still give that error message?
You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that fixes the issue.
When I first downloaded and started using voice in in voice typing in Chrome ma I had absolutely no problems.
However recently when I press the shortcut key to start voice typing I get a message that says "reload the page to use this extension".
The page the extension works and I can voice type with no issues. It is a bit of an inconvenience though to have to do this each time.
Has anybody else encountered this issue and if they have have they been able to resolve it?

To add to the above, I am unable to replicate it on my machine. Are you using on Chrome or Edge?
